I'm a PERFECTIONIST! lol *UrbanCowgirl*

Yeah. It's not really something to be proud of, but I don't think it should be something to be ashamed of either! I am a perfectionist. Especially with grammer and spelling. I know everybody makes mistakes (I know I do) but it bugs me when people just don't CARE that their sentences don't have periods or capitals, or that they spelled bunches of words wrong. But it REALLY bugs me. I want to scream. If I do something, I want to do it right the first time even if it takes a long time. People who just do something to be able to call it work bug me. I am a perfectionist. I painted my kitchen, and if I spilled a little bit of paint on something, I almost hyperventalated (see, I don't know how to spell that, and it bugs me!). Anywayz, I just thought I'd admit my flaws. Anyone else like me, or totally the opposite???

Date: 3/23/2004 7:37:00 PM  From Authorid: 22433    yep..I'm a perfectionist when it comes to grammar (btw..you spelled it wrong up there lol and spelling. Not so much everything else, but grammar's the big thing. Like you, I can't STAND when people just don't care about their writing..it drives me insane (which is not a far drive though lol).
Date: 3/23/2004 7:52:00 PM  From Authorid: 51684    I have OCD, so I know exactly where you're coming from. lol Don't feel bad about it, though. Wouldn't you rather go nuts over spilled paint than not care at all and have a big, sloppy, spotty floor?
Date: 3/23/2004 8:09:00 PM  From Authorid: 49091    I am the same way!!! If my folders in my backpack arent from period 1-7 then my extra paper folder, then my jazz club notebook and folder then my binder. I FLIP OUT if it isnt right! I only dont use the right grammer online. But at school, everything is the right way. It has to be!
Date: 3/23/2004 9:56:00 PM  From Authorid: 20956    i am the same when it comes to punctuation, grammer and how people say things and in what context. i am forever correcting people, i cant help it, it just comes out of my mouth!!! sometimes i'll be reading through a report or memo or something at work and i'll find myself CORRECTING it (ie. inserting a more appropriate word, adding commas, etc)!!! hello, these reports are usually from senior members of the company and only for my use ... here i am marking away like a school teacher
Date: 3/24/2004 12:11:00 AM  From Authorid: 28125    It really annoys me when I make typos...I usually try to have perfect grammar...it depends on the situation...but I can be a perfectionist...great post Sis...No one is perfect but as a Christian we should strive for perfection...Love and Hugs...GBU...ICL~*~*~
Date: 3/24/2004 1:23:00 AM  From Authorid: 62552    I too am incredibly fussy over grammar and spelling. I am extremely irritated by the misuse of "your" and "you're", for example "Your bag is open", or "You're dog is cute". I don't like the internet slang used nowadays, such as "heyz" and "u r da bomm". Sure, it may be easier, but you know how to spell it, DO IT! Sorry, more of a lash out than a comment. I've gotten into the habit of doing assignments when I'm tired, because then I won't spend hours adding borders and checking evenly spaced words. Also (this is the last thing! Promise!) when I'm told to chop something for dinner, for example an onion, I'll chop them all exactly the same size. If they have to be smaller, they ALL have to be smaller, exactly the same size. >>Bageera<<
Date: 3/24/2004 8:16:00 AM  From Authorid: 943    I am a perfectionist about a lot of things and it drives me crazy. I can't help it though, it's who I am. I guess it shows I care about what I do.
Date: 4/13/2004 6:34:00 PM  From Authorid: 49091    I am too!!! I can't STAND it when people make grammer mistakes!!! Ohhh that just trips my trigger!! Yeah I type in short when I'm online, but I notice it and it buggs me. My friend types in gibberish and after about 3 min. of talking to him, I just wanna scream!!! I am like "Aaron, I can't understand what your saying, can you try not to make so many typos?" and he's like "I tly" I'm like ohhhhhh you are makin' me mad!!! I can't stand it!! lol
Date: 4/13/2004 6:36:00 PM  From Authorid: 49091    whoa, I replied 2 times?! whats going on here...LOL
Date: 4/17/2004 7:38:00 PM  From Authorid: 54968    Omg I'm EXACTLY like you! LOL! It bugs the heck outta me when something's not right. lol
